Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Azure TL (the "Service"), a platform that provides tools for translating novels and web fiction. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

Azure TL offers tools designed to assist users in translating novels and web fiction from various languages into English. The platform facilitates the translation process but does not publish, host, or claim ownership of any content submitted or translated by users.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

Azure TL offers a free tier and several paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional translation token capacity. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the applicable pricing at the time of purchase.

• Tokens are credited to your account upon successful payment.
• Tokens expire at the end of your billing period — one month for monthly plans, one year for annual plans.
• Unused tokens that expire will not be carried over or refunded.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

4. No Refund Policy

Because Azure TL is an independently owned and operated service, we are unable to provide refunds for purchased plans, partial months, unused tokens, or any other fees paid. This applies to all plans, including cases where:

• You no longer wish to use the Service.
• You are dissatisfied with the translation quality.
• Tokens were not fully used before expiration.
• You experienced technical difficulties (unless caused by prolonged service outages).
• Your account was terminated for violating these Terms.

We strongly encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before purchasing a paid plan.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Automation is strictly prohibited. The use of automation tools, macros, or scripts to access or interact with the Service is strictly prohibited. If automation is suspected or detected, we reserve the right to immediately ban the offending account.

Unauthorized commercial distribution is strictly prohibited. Using the Service to generate content for unauthorized commercial distribution — including but not limited to pirate sites or platforms that distribute content without proper authorization — results in an immediate and permanent ban. This policy is strictly enforced.

You also agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its underlying API.
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security features.
• Share your account credentials with others.

6. User Responsibilities

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.
• Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of security.
• Translation Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to translate any content they use with our tools. Azure TL does not monitor or moderate the content you submit — what you translate is your own business and has nothing to do with this site beyond the act of processing it.
• Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations in your use of the Service.
• Infringement or Misuse: We do not represent or warrant that your use of Azure TL will not constitute an infringement or misuse of the rights of any third party. That determination is your responsibility alone.

7. Content Ownership and Licenses

Third-Party Content: The original novels and web fiction are the intellectual property of their respective authors and publishers. Azure TL does not claim ownership of any original content or any translations created using our tools.

User Translations: Any translations created using the Service are the responsibility of the individual user. Azure TL does not store, publish, or assume any liability for these translations.

Azure TL and its logo, design, and software are the property of Azure TL and may not be used without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Azure TL makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Service, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azure TL and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Azure TL's total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Azure TL and its owner from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

Azure TL reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or for any other reason. No refunds will be issued upon termination for Terms violations.

11. Changes to These Terms

Azure TL reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and revising the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.

DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy

Azure TL respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable law, Azure TL has adopted a policy of responding to proper notifications of alleged copyright infringement.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notice via our Contact & Report page with the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information sufficient to permit us to locate it;
• Your contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email address;
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Azure TL will respond expeditiously by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material hosted directly on our platform.

Please note: Azure TL provides tools that enable users to translate content from external sources and user-submitted text. Azure TL does not host or control third-party websites or their content. If the allegedly infringing material is hosted externally, we may not be able to remove or disable access to it — in such cases, contact the third-party website or content owner directly.
