Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Azure TL ("the Service"), operated by an individual independent owner ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Azure TL. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

2. Accounts

You may sign in using a supported third-party provider (Google, Microsoft, or Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

Azure TL offers a free tier and several paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional translation token capacity. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the applicable pricing at the time of purchase.

  • Tokens are credited to your account upon successful payment.
  • Tokens expire 3 months after the date of purchase.
  • Unused tokens that expire will not be carried over or refunded.
  • Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

4. No Refund Policy

All purchases are final. Azure TL does not offer refunds under any circumstances.

Because Azure TL is an independently owned and operated service, we are unable to provide refunds for purchased plans, partial months, unused tokens, or any other fees paid. This applies to all plans, including cases where:

  • You no longer wish to use the Service.
  • You are dissatisfied with the translation quality.
  • Tokens were not fully used before expiration.
  • You experienced technical difficulties (unless caused by prolonged service outages).
  • Your account was terminated for violating these Terms.

We strongly encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before purchasing a paid plan.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Azure TL to:

  • Translate, store, or distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Translate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its underlying API.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service in an unauthorized manner.
  • Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security features.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Azure TL is a translation tool. You are solely responsible for any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you represent that you have the legal right to do so.

We do not claim ownership over any content you submit. However, by using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your submitted content solely for the purpose of providing the translation service.

Azure TL and its logo, design, and software are the property of Azure TL and may not be used without permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable access to the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use of AI-generated translations is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Azure TL and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. No refunds will be issued upon termination for Terms violations.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.
